Bedrijven die de klantbetrokkenheid verbeteren, zien hun omzet uit upsell vaak stijgen <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.smile.io\/blog\/what-is-customer-engagement-and-why-is-it-important\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">13% tot 51%<\/a> en een toename van de ordergrootte van 5% naar 85%. Als klanten niet krijgen wat ze willen van de ene retailer, gaan ze ergens anders heen om het te krijgen. Heel eenvoudig betekent dit het bieden van winkelervaringen die inspelen op de voorkeuren van de slimme klanten van vandaag. Dit kan onder meer kassaloze kassaprocedures zijn, het aanbieden van nieuwe betalingsopties zoals betaling in termijnen en BOPIS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De belangrijkste afhaalmaaltijd is dit\u2026 <strong>het gemakkelijk maken<\/strong>. Vermijd wrijving of wegversperringen op elk moment tijdens de aankoopervaringen van uw klanten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Retail blijft klantgericht en mensgericht. Er is zelfs een heel niveau gewijd aan schoonheidsbehandelingen \u2013 niet alleen aan schoonheidsproducten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maar wat is er naast ervaringen en betrokkenheid nog meer van belang voor klanten? Het blijkt dat het neerkomt op klantenservice, maar niet op het soort dat retailers in het verleden hebben geboden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Klantenservice... Letterlijk <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vroeger gaven klanten alleen om hoe je behandeld werd <strong>hen<\/strong>, waarbij klantenservice een kernonderdeel is van hun aankoopbeslissingen. Klanten geven nu om klantenservice&nbsp;<strong>en<\/strong> acties van retailers die rechtstreeks van invloed zijn op datgene waar ze persoonlijk om geven (duurzaamheid, eerlijke lonen, sociale rechtvaardigheid, enz.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In een recent rapport, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.accenture.com\/us-en\/insights\/strategy\/brand-purpose?c=glb_globalconsumerptwitter_10442546&amp;n=smc_1218&amp;linkId=100000007906796\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Accenture<\/a> legt uit: \u201cConsumenten in de Verenigde Staten nemen beslissingen niet langer uitsluitend op basis van productkeuze of prijs; ze beoordelen wat een merk zegt, wat het doet en waar het voor staat. Ze ondersteunen bedrijven waarvan het merkdoel aansluit bij hun overtuigingen. En ze verwerpen degenen die dat niet doen, waarbij een op de vijf voor altijd wegloopt.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Retailers lopen het risico klanten te verliezen door wat hun merken doen of <em>niet doen<\/em> doen.
