Miscommunicatie in de detailhandel komt voor. Maar wanneer het gebeurt in uw<\/em> winkels, het voelt elke keer als een verrassing. Het is gemakkelijk voor het hoofdkantoor om essenti\u00eble informatie uit fysieke winkels te missen, vooral wanneer het hoofdkantoor van uw bedrijf gescheiden is van uw fysieke locaties. Als je het gevoel hebt dat je de bal op het communicatiefront laat vallen, ben je niet de enige.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De kosten van miscommunicatie tussen organisaties in de retailbiz-hit $37 miljard<\/a> afgelopen jaar. Gelukkig hoeven communicatiebarri\u00e8res niet tot de kosten van zakendoen te behoren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De eerste stap om miscommunicatie in de detailhandel aan te pakken, is vast te stellen waar ze zich voordoen. Laten we dus eens kijken naar de vijf belangrijkste redenen waarom u niet weet wat er in uw winkels gebeurt en hoe u miscommunicatie kunt oplossen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reden #1. Schema's worden gemaakt zonder een overzicht van de sterke en zwakke punten van medewerkers<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

De behoeften van werknemers maken het tegenwoordig bijna onmogelijk om effectief met de hand schema's op papier te maken. Afzetten en ophalen van school, lesroosters van de universiteit, deeltijdbanen en medische noodgevallen in het gezin zijn slechts enkele van de factoren die uw vermogen om een effectief schema te cre\u00ebren dat werkt voor iedereen die bij u in dienst is, kan belemmeren zonder gebruik te maken van technologie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

57 procent<\/a> van de winkelmedewerkers zegt dat ze hun diensten nog steeds leren van papieren schema's die in de pauzeruimtes van de werknemers zijn geplaatst! Als de warenhuissluitingen van het afgelopen decennium ons iets hebben geleerd, is het dat retailers in het nieuwe retaillandschap niet kunnen overleven door te rusten op de technieken van gisteren. Probeert u de agenda's van meerdere werknemers op een stuk papier te goochelen? Het wordt tijd dat we die oude gewoonte laten rusten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

U realiseert zich misschien niet dat online planningstools ook de verantwoordelijkheid binnen uw retailorganisatie kunnen vergroten. Bijvoorbeeld ontdekken welke manager constant op de vloer aanwezig is wanneer er weinig verkopen zijn, werknemers die esthetisch geneigd zijn op de planning zetten wanneer het tijd is om displays op te zetten of zelfs de oorzaak van krimp in een van uw winkels identificeren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Door patronen te identificeren met AI krijgt u een hoger inzicht in wat er in uw fysieke winkels gebeurt, zodat u gebieden met groeipotentieel kunt lokaliseren en dienovereenkomstig kunt handelen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reden #2. Top-down rapportage beperkt mogelijkheden voor feedback van werknemers<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Wist u dat de meeste ondernemers van mening zijn dat minder dan 70 procent<\/a> van hun medewerkers zijn betrokken? Wat gebeurt er met deze bedrijven als een klant binnenkomt terwijl iemand van de 30+ procent van de niet-betrokken werknemers op de klok staat? Om een gok te wagen: waarschijnlijk geen geweldige klantenservice-ervaring die bezoekers doet verlangen om terug te keren naar hun fysieke winkel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Goede werknemers raken betrokken als ze er niet op vertrouwen dat het management de juiste beslissingen neemt \u2013 en dat is precies wat er gebeurt als het hoofdkantoor of het bedrijf geen manier heeft om met werknemers in de frontlinie te communiceren. We leven in het tijdperk van de oproepcultuur en technologische vooruitgang. Top-down rapportage, hoewel effectief in het verleden, laat geen ruimte voor de flexibiliteit die nodig is om te slagen in de hedendaagse retailwereld.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vertrouw erop dat uw medewerkers waardevolle informatie over uw bedrijf hebben. Als u zich niet op de begane grond bevindt, loopt u gemakkelijk echte inzichten mis, zoals het consumentenvertrouwen over recente initiatieven, verkoopschommelingen, eb en vloed in het winkelverkeer, en meer.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Wanneer uw floormanager werknemers een andere richtlijn geeft dan uw winkelmanager, en uw winkelmanager hen een andere richtlijn geeft dan u in de trainingsvideo deed, is het slechts een kwestie van tijd voordat zelfs uw beste medewerkers het gevoel krijgen dat ze gewoon kan niet winnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afgelopen jaar, Gallup<\/a> ontdekte dat 70 procent van de variantie in medewerkersbetrokkenheid kan worden gecorreleerd aan de effectiviteit van de sectiemanager van die medewerker. U kunt het gebruiken om inzicht te krijgen in uw winkelactiviteiten waar u anders misschien blind voor was geweest, zoals: welke medewerkers hun taakomschrijving overstegen, hoe zij denken over uw laatste voorraadkeuzes, hoe lang ze in de rij moesten wachten voordat ze werden geholpen ... zelfs hoe goed uw toiletten de hele dag worden onderhouden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
