We dachten dat ze interessant zouden zijn voor onze klanten en lezers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Er zijn veel gemakswinkels!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gemakswinkels blijven als branche gestaag groeien, in aantal verdubbeld in de afgelopen 30 jaar! Volgens <a href=\"http:\/\/www.convenience.org\/Research\/FactSheets\/ScopeofIndustry\/Pages\/IndustryStoreCount.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NACS<\/a>, er zijn 150.174 <a href=\"https:\/\/bindy.com\/industries\/convenience-store\/\">c-winkels<\/a> alleen in de Verenigde Staten. En ze serveren bijna? <a href=\"http:\/\/www.convenience.org\/Research\/FactSheets\/ScopeofIndustry\/Pages\/Convenience.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">160 miljoen klanten<\/a> per dag!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Gemakswinkels leiden in de detailhandel en zomerverkoop.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gemakswinkels vormen 34.1% van alle winkels in de VS (&quot;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.convenience.org\/Media\/Daily\/2018\/Apr\/ND0412181_Convenience-Store-Sales,-Profits-Edged-H\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gemakswinkels aanbieding<\/a>, &quot;). C-store-verkopen in de VS bereikten een nieuw hoogtepunt in 2022 en bereikten $302,8 miljard (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.convenience.org\/Media\/Daily\/2023\/April\/19\/1-US-C-Store-Sales-Hit-New-Highs-in-2022_Research#:~:text=Total%20convenience%20industry%20sales%20were,sales%20increased%209.0%25%20in%202022.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NACS<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In tegenstelling tot andere winkelcategorie\u00ebn, zullen c-stores, wanneer consumenten op pad gaan voor hun zomervakantie, een omzetstijging van 17% zien (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.generalmillscf.com\/industries\/convenience\/support-tool-categories\/consumer-insights\/summer-snacking-in-c-stores\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&quot;Zomersnacks&quot;, General Mills<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tip voor winkeluitvoering: Om te profiteren van de toename van het aantal bezoekers in de zomermaanden, moet u vooruit plannen en grondig uitvoeren. In de zomer trekken consumenten naar zoute snacks en voedingsrepen. Geef dus opnieuw prioriteit aan schapruimte voor populaire categorie\u00ebn (zaden, trailmix, yoghurt). Gemakswinkels waren goed voor meer dan 11% van de eet- en drinkgelegenheden van millennials in (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.csnews.com\/industry-news-and-trends\/expert-insights\/three-ways-win-millennials?cc=3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&quot;Drie manieren om te winnen&quot;,<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zowel millennials als post-millennials (Gen Z) worden be\u00efnvloed door voedingstrends, waaronder lokale, niet-verwerkte ingredi\u00ebnten. Zesenzeventig procent van de 18-34-jarigen zou meer bereid voedsel kopen bij c-stores als het voedsel wordt bestempeld als lokaal, natuurlijk en in milieuvriendelijke verpakking (<a href=\"http:\/\/foodservicerestaurantkitchenandcstoredesignconsultants.com\/blog\/c-store-design\/5-ways-to-build-a-better-food-service-program\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&quot;Vijf manieren om een beter voedselserviceprogramma op te zetten&quot;, <\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Klanten kiezen voor verse en gezonde opties.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De verkoop van verse groenten en fruit (inclusief kant-en-klare salades en verpakte producten) steeg met 10,31 TP3T tot $ 362 miljoen(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/consumers-increasingly-turning-to-fresh-items-in-convenience-stores-300072031.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&quot;Consumenten,&quot;<\/a>). 63% van retailers rapporteerde aanhoudende omzetgroei voor fruit, groenten, yoghurt en noten (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nacsonline.com\/Media\/Press_Releases\/2017\/Pages\/PR010217.aspx#.WTln2mjyuUl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&quot;Gemakswinkelverkoop&quot;,<\/a>). Bovendien zeggen consumenten steeds vaker dat de kwaliteit van levensmiddelen in de winkel bepaalt waar ze brandstof kopen (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cstoredecisions.com\/2017\/03\/29\/food-quality-factors-customers-gas-station-choice\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&quot;Voedselkwaliteit,&quot;<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>De verkoop van wijn en sterke drank stijgt.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De verkoop van tafelwijn steeg met 7,11 TP3T (groei van de verkoop), de mousserende wijn steeg met 13,41 TP3T en gedistilleerde dranken realiseerden een groei van 15,91 TP3T voor c-stores (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cspdailynews.com\/category-news\/beverages\/articles\/beer-losing-share-wine-c-stores\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IRI<\/a>). De bierverkoop in de C-store steeg tot $18,6+ miljard (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cstoredecisions.com\/2016\/09\/09\/boosting-beer-wine-sales\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&quot;Boosten,&quot;<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>een winstgevend alternatief voor autowasstraten? Wijn!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Een supermarkt in El Carajo (Miami, FL) heeft zijn wasstraat vervangen door een wijnwinkel. Hygi\u00ebne is echter de sleutel om brandstofklanten om te zetten in klanten in de winkel. Bovendien zegt 84% van de klanten die stoppen om te tanken dat de netheid van de winkel een factor is om te overwegen om naar binnen te gaan voor een extra aankoop (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nacsonline.com\/Media\/Press_Releases\/2017\/Pages\/PR042017.aspx#.WTlqMWjyuUl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&quot;Verfrissen, tanken&quot;,<\/a>). Vijfenveertig procent van de brandstofklanten gaat naar de winkel om een drankje te kopen; 36% om een snack te kopen. 13% van de consumenten van 18 tot 34 jaar koopt kant-en-klaar voedsel eenmaal in de winkel (&quot;Voedselkwaliteit&quot;).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gemakswinkels verkopen bijna 50% van alle loten die in de Amerikaanse loterij worden verkocht. Lottery zorgt ook voor meer bezoekers, en 95% van loterijklanten koopt ten minste \u00e9\u00e9n ander item in de winkel (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nacsonline.com\/Research\/FactSheets\/InsidetheStore\/Pages\/LotterySalesinConvenienceStores.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&quot;Loterijverkoop&quot;, <\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Gemakswinkels zijn een wereldwijd fenomeen.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Taiwan heeft de hoogste concentratie gemakswinkels van alle landen. Er zijn meer dan 9.800 winkels verspreid over 36.000 vierkante kilometer. Uit een onderzoek bleek dat er 2,878 miljard bezoeken waren aan gemakswinkels in Taiwan, of een gemiddelde van 122,73 reizen voor elke persoon (mannen, vrouwen en kinderen) in het land (<a href=\"http:\/\/focustaiwan.tw\/news\/aeco\/201505100016.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u201cTaiwanese gemak,\u201d<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Promotionele naleving is verbluffend laag!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Volgens een onderzoek zijn merchandisingmanagers van mening dat de naleving van merchandising ongeveer 78% is voor tijdelijke displays en 80% voor permanente displays.
