Bindy stelde onlangs een publiek van meer dan 49.000 retailprofessionals een open vraag: "Werken mystery shopping-programma's?"<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leden reageerden snel. De antwoorden zijn overweldigend gemengd of ronduit negatief over mystery shopping. Terwijl sommigen de inzichten prezen die het bracht, beweert de meerderheid dat mystery shopping gewoon niet werkt. Laten we erin duiken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMysteriewinkels zijn alleen zo goed en betrouwbaar als de mensen die ze hebben ingehuurd... In mijn ervaring zijn ze sporadisch in kwaliteit en betrouwbaarheid geweest. De beste manier om te mysteryshoppen is dat districtmanagers buiten het gebied gaan dat ze beheren en bij elkaars winkels winkelen. We weten waar we op moeten letten en willen geen geld verdienen door online een formulier in te vullen. \u201d \u2013 Alicia Evans<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Mystery shoppers moeten ervaren zijn en een geoefend oog hebben. Dit is vaak niet het geval vanwege personeels-, opleidings- en budgetproblemen.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 \u201cDe mystery shopper moet een kwaliteitsvol persoon zijn, begrijpen in welke arena hij zich bevindt, en hij moet in een paar minuten 25 dingen kunnen zien. Het probleem is dat bedrijven mystery shoppers willen als ze operationele problemen hebben, maar ze willen zo min mogelijk betalen en de prijs omlaag brengen. Mystery shopping is net als wijn of sigaren: hoe meer u betaalt, hoe beter de rapporten\/resultaten. Als je weinig betaalt, krijg je niet veel. Afval erin. \u201cIk denk dat de districtsmanager een belangrijk onderdeel is van de bedrijfsverbetering en goede feedback en coaching kan geven over wat nodig is om het bedrijf op te bouwen, maar alleen een echte klant kan je eerlijke en niet bevooroordeelde feedback geven.\u201d \u2013 Benoit Marinoff<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOns bedrijf is er gewoon mee gestopt. Wij vonden dat ze niet effectief waren. Wij hebben ervoor gekozen om gebruik te maken van een klantfeedbackonderzoek. Tot nu toe is het een stuk effectiever gebleken. Verder; Ik ben het eens met twee eerdere meningen dat een onaangekondigd supervisorbezoek meer bruikbare informatie kan bieden.\u201d \u2013 John Aldridge<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Niemand kent het bedrijf beter dan de organisatie zelf en niemand is beter in staat de best practices van het merk te delen dan de eigen districtmanagers van het merk. Uitvoering in de winkel is een kerncompetentie voor een retailer. In naam van bedrijfscontinu\u00efteit en een lange levensduur laat u een kerncompetentie niet over aan een derde partij.  Gebruik dus mystery shopping als je er waarde in ziet, maar neem het voor wat het is: een bron van inzichten, geen vervanging voor bezoeken van districtsmanagers<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIk heb echt veel gehad aan de opmerkingen van klanten in mystery shops, maar ik zou ze niet als een goede manier beschouwen om de algehele prestaties van een winkel te evalueren, vooral niet als dit op een beperkte basis gebeurt. We hebben het er allemaal over dat we vanuit het perspectief van de klant naar ons bedrijf kijken, maar dat is moeilijker dan het klinkt als je verwikkeld bent in de dagelijkse werkzaamheden.
